Ciprofloxacin Lactate is an antibiotic that has been used to medicate polymer wound dressing. Ciprofloxacin Lactate has been shown to produce high and sustained serum bactericidal titers against highly susceptible bacteria.

Ciprofloxacin lactate is the third generation of quinolone antimicrobial drug. Its main mechanism of action is to inhibit DNA cyclotrase involved in nucleic acid synthesis and prevent cell division by destroying the structure of bacterial DNchemicalbooka.The oral bioavailability is approximately 52%(due to the first-pass effect) and the blood concentration reaches its peak 85 minutes after administration.

Used for urogenital infections caused by sensitive bacteria, including simple, complex urinary tract infections, bacterial prostatitis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae urethritis or cervicitis (including those caused by enzyme-producing strains). It can also treat respiratory tract infections, including acute episodes of bronchial infections and lung infections caused by sensitive Gram-negative bacilli. Treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by Shigella, Salmonella, Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli,Aeromonas hydrophila, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, etc. It can also treat systemic infections such as typhoid fever, bone and joint nfections, septicemia of skin and soft tissue infections.
